On July 1st, the band and I headed out to Milwaukee to play Summerfest, the largest musical festival in the world. The festival lasts 11 days, with everyone from lil ole me to Carrie Underwood. I was lucky enough to be part of the Emerging Artist Series on the U.S. Cellular Connections Stage, and, thanks to everyone’s awesome texting thumbs, won the daily EAS contest and got a slot on the EAS compilation CD.

I’ve got send a big thank you out to the staff and crew of Summerfest. They were all incredibly nice and made the festival such a blast.
